Advokids: General Support

  • The Advokids staff and consultant team is made up of children’s advocates, including attorneys, psychologists, social workers and public health professionals.

     

    Presently the Advokids staff and consultants work on a strictly volunteer basis. Our professional networks allow us to assist kids, foster parents, non-relative extended family members, and any person concerned about the safety of a foster child with referrals, legal information, psychological information and resources.
    1. Our hotline (1.877.ADV4KID) offers direct assistance in understanding and accessing the court system and the child welfare system for the benefit of foster children
    2. Our trainings provide valuable education about the workings of the court system and the child welfare system.
    3. Our pilot projects seek to promote public awareness and inspire our communities to get involved in supporting our foster child population.

    These services cannot be provided without operating funds. Please help us continue our efforts by making a donation to our General Program Support Fund.
